Welcome to the Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry

The Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry version 1.0.1 is an add-on to the Quest MessageStats console and provides reporting on BlackBerry servers in your organization.

New in This Release

This is a maintenance release of the BlackBerry Report Pack. It does not contain any new features or enhancements. See the section List of Updates for a list of bug fixes.

List of Updates

Bug ID	Description
17659	Users are not sorted by number of messages in the Top User Message Summary bar graph in the User Activity Message Summary Report.
17818	The values reported in the User Activity Phone Summary Report are greater than they should be.
17819	When using a specific combination of filter options the line graph in the User Activity Phone Summary Report is not displaying data for the entire date range specified.

Supported Software

The MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry has been tested with, and supports the following BlackBerry software:

Known Issues

The following is a list of issues known to exist at the time of the Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry release:

The Report Pack is dependent upon Quest MessageStats version 6.1.0 or greater.
If you are using SQL Replication, the Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry will not get replicated.

System Requirements

Before installing Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry , ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements:

Note: You must ensure that you meet all the system requirements for Quest MessageStats before installing this report pack. For more information see the Quest MessageStats Release Notes.

Platform	Pentium 4, running at a minimum speed of 1 GHz Monitor supporting a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Pointing device. You must have a pointing device installed on your PC to access all Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry features.
Memory	Minimum of 1 GB
Hard Disk Space	100 MB. Database files extracted from a backup require additional storage space depending on the size of the database. Note: Sufficient space must be available for the BlackBerry log cache, application logs, and task documents. The size of this cache depends on the number of servers, the number of BlackBerry logs on each server, and the size of each log. The space should exist on a local disk drive rather than a network drive.
Operating System	Microsoft® Windows Server 2003.
Additional Software	Quest MessageStats 6.1.0 Microsoft .NET Runtime v2.0

Global Operations

The Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry supports running on Windows Servers installed in any language.

The Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry is not currently localized into languages other than English.

Installation Instructions

How to install the product:

Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements.
To install the Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry, double-click on the Quest MessageStats Report Pack for BlackBerry.exe.

Before you start the installation, it is recommended that you close all the previously opened applications.
