New in This Release

Quest MessageStats Report Pack for Sendmail and Postfix 1.1.0 extends the capabilities of the 1.0.0 release by offering support for non-standard process names in the Syslog Mail log file.

The initial release of the report pack was restricted to support for the standard Sendmail and Postfix process names, for example "sendmail" or "postfix/smtpd". Version 1.1.0 adds support for alternate process names with the addition of a "Process Aliases" property page. This property page allows administrators to provide a list of process name aliases, thus permitting the report pack gathering module to include log entries containing non-standard process names.
