How to configure corrective action against alarm

Hi,

I am looking to configure corrective action against alarm in Foglight. We use Foglight for SQL Server monitoring. I usually get lot Log File Utilization alerts from Foglight. I am thinking off to fire SQL script by Foglight to shrink the log file when the warning/critical alarm generated.

Hello Venu,

for each rule you can define a command action. The command action triggers the command/script which will do the shrinking. The command action can be taken place at the beginning or end of the rule workflow.
To find the command action configuration, please open the rules dashboard, select the needed rule and open the condition where you want to fire action. On the action tab select the Action Type "Entering" or "Exiting" and from the action drop down select "Command Action" or "Remote Command Action.
