AutoRPM™
Reduce Software Licensing Costs
AutoRPM is a built-in interface from the NetBase central directory to remote process management (RPM), which is supported by Hewlett-Packard. It is the only component of the high availability solutions that requires NS 3000 to be on the system.
AutoRPM grants system administrators the ability to automatically forward programs to run only on a given system on the network where software licenses exist. For example, system administrators may wish to use this feature to improve performance by assigning a program to run on the optimal system in the network and access data on another system, significantly reducing software licensing costs and improving system performance by spreading CPU utilization among several systems.
