Knowledge Xpert for PL/SQL v10.0

New and enhanced features for this release include:

  • User Interface - A completely new user interface works similar to most web search engines and is very intuitive. Simply enter one or more keywords in the Search field and quickly start to use Knowledge Xpert to answer technical database questions and retrieve information.
  • Table of Contents Hierarchy - A hierarchy at the top of each result page tells you where to find the current information in the table of contents. Click a heading in the hierarchy to access the table of contents and look for related topics.
  • Table of Contents Access - The opening page lists the knowledge databases currently installed on your system. Click a database to go to the Table of Contents page for the selected knowledge database.
  • Results Display - An improved presentation of results features icons to clearly differentiate search result types.
  • Enhanced Search - The redesigned search functionality includes:
    • Capability to filter results as you type search terms
    • Ability to search across all installed Knowledge Xpert products
    • More descriptive search results that provide a better preview of the page
    • Ability to search all versions of Instant Messages and other resources along with standard pages

New Content in Knowledge Xpert for PL/SQL:

Coding Best Practices: This section now includes SQL Best Practices. Below are a few highlights of the newly expanded "Best Practices in Coding."
