LiveReorg® makes it possible to reorganize your 24x7 databases with no impact. Using Quest's patented online reorganization technology, e-businesses and ERP systems can reorganize objects “live”, while they are being accessed by applications and users. Even large, heavily used tables and their indexes can be reorganized as DML activity continues against the tables. When the online switch is used, live reorganizations are performed with zero application downtime.

Designed to give you exceptional flexibility, feedback, and control when you reorganize, Space Management provides extensive object and datatype support, multiple reorg and data movement methods, object relocation and resizing during reorg, multiple scripting options (including parallel processing and sorted reorg), space checks prior to reorg, statement-by-statement script monitoring during reorg, automatic script restart when reorg fails, and script logs for troubleshooting.
