Features

Complete Control: Keeps you in control of your migration with a centralized Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in. The MMC shows all migration steps, the configuration settings per user and user migration status.
Pre-Migration Discovery: Identifies all users as well as their contacts and properties. It reports on users with contacts above and below the contact limit and those with nested groups, so you know which may present problems during the migration. This can be scheduled to run automatically or on-demand.
Web-Based Reporting: Enables you to view the project status at a glance and provides up-to-the-minute reports. You can drill down within the migration status report for detailed information on the status of each project, even down to the individual user. Reports can be e-mailed or exported to XML, html, or other data formats.
QuickMap: Maps Sametime users to Active Directory (AD) accounts by matching a user attribute from the Domino server to one in AD. If you previously used Quest Notes Migrator for Exchange, the data collected during that migration can be reused to map Sametime users to AD.
PowerShell-Enabled: Enables you to use the PowerShell command line or Quest PowerGUI™, a free graphical user interface and script editor, to perform tasks. It also includes a PowerPack: pre-defined PowerShell scripts for creating and running migration jobs quickly and easily.
FlexEnable: Enables you to control when users receive Lync or OCS functionality. During this process, SIP addresses are automatically generated for users. You can use a small group of accounts as a pilot.
High-Fidelity Migration: Accurately replicates contact lists, including external contacts, group names, and the hierarchy of nested groups, in Lync and OCS.
Anytime Scheduling: Enables you to schedule migration tasks to run when they cause minimal impact to end users
Simplified Administration: Automates manual administrative tasks, including user mapping and group creation, and sends notifications indicating their success or failure.
Minimal Productivity Loss: Saves an average of 30 minutes per user – their contact lists are automatically migrated without rebuilding.
Migration Assessment: Enables you to test settings prior to the migration without making changes to production servers. This assessment alerts them to any errors or failures that might occur during an actual migration

Before installing Migrator for Sametime, ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements:

Platform	x86 or x64, running at a minimum speed of 2 GHz
Memory	2 GB
Hard Disk Space	300 MB of free disk space is required for the application. If you are running a large number of tasks or running tasks against a large number of users, you may require more disk space.

Web Reports	For installing Web Reports, you need: IIS 6.0 with the following enabled: Common Files, World Wide Web Services, ASP, ASP.NET -OR- IIS 7.0 with the following enabled: World Wide Web Services, Application Development Features, ASP, ASP.NET, Server-Side Includes, Security, and Windows Authentication For viewing Web Reports, you need: Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8
Additional Software	The following applications must be installed before installing Migrator for Sametime (Note: Some applications may be preinstalled as part of the operating system): Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0 Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 Microsoft Management Console 3.0 Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 or 2007 R2 Administrative Tools, if using WMI to migrate contacts Windows PowerShell 1.0 Windows PowerShell 2.0 is required for migrations to Lync Server.
