MultSess

Switch Between Multiple Applications Easily

MultSess is a high-performance session manager that helps increase productivity in a VTAM environment by providing you with access to more than one application at a time, or concurrent access to more than one transaction within the same TP monitor. Designed for use under IBM's OS/390 MVS operating system environments, MultSess helps users better manage multiple applications from a single terminal, and improves productivity for those working with more than one connection to the same application.

  • Easily Switch Between Multiple Applications – MultSess eliminates wasted time, lost productivity and frustration associated with changing from one application to another.
  • Manage Up to 225 Concurrent Sessions – MultSess is capable of managing large numbers of high-throughput users – with very low mainframe CPU resource consumption. With menu-driven session selection and single-key switching, you can have up to 255 concurrent sessions to the same or different applications, anywhere in the network.
  • Save Time and Boost Productivity – Without MultSess, you lose valuable time every time you log on and off your applications. That wasted time is compounded if you work with two, three or more applications. MultSess overcomes these problems by allowing you to work with more than one application at the same time, and switch between them quickly.
  • Automate Common or Repetitive Transactions – Automated Transaction Processor (ATP) automates common or repetitive transactions to any VTAM application for any number of users. With MultSess, logging on, selecting an application from a menu and invoking a transaction takes a single keystroke. All end users see is the selection menu followed by the transaction screen.
