NDS Migrator

Pre-migration mapping and planning—Avoid migration issues with thorough pre-migration analysis and planning. NDS Migrator offers:

• Mapping of OUs and objects—Create a mapping of your organizational units (OUs) and objects prior to migration. NDS Migrator will accommodate any necessary restructuring.
• Resolution of intra-NDS name conflicts— Automatically identify duplicate names within the NDS tree so you can resolve them before you begin the migration to Active Directory. Note: In NDS, it’s common to have objects in different OUs with the same names. In Active Directory, the SAM account name must be unique within the entire target Active Directory domain.
• Pre-migration file scan—Scan the source and target computers to ensure that all files and folders are valid, verify the appropriate permissions to the target share, and confirm that the target disk has enough free space.
