NetVault Backup Capacity Licensing Options

In addition to the traditional component-based licensing (by module), NetVault Backup can be licensed by capacity, giving customers incredible flexibility to choose the model that best meets their needs.

NetVault Backup's capacity-based licensing models allow you to deploy an unlimited number of clients or application plug-ins; as long as they're included in the edition you buy. Choose one of the two capacity-based licensing editions.

Capacity Edition

Simple Backup & Recovery Designed for the Growing Business

NetVault Backup - Capacity Edition gives you everything your growing organization needs to protect its valuable data assets—without the “enterprise” price tag. You have reliable cross-platform protection for physical and virtual environments. You can ensure availability of business-critical applications—such as Oracle, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, and MySQL. And you can quickly recover entire systems from their “bare metal” state.

Enterprise Capacity

Comprehensive Backup & Recovery Designed for the Large Enterprise

This option is ideal for larger enterprises with more complex environments. It offers reliable protection for UNIX platforms and applications running with a UNIX environment, including SAP and Sybase. You can also back up network attached storage (NAS) devices via NDMP and recover third-party databases running within a cluster.
