Quest Notes Migrator for SharePoint Supports SharePoint Online and New Features in SharePoint 2010

(Nasdaq: QSFT) today released a new version of Notes Migrator for SharePoint, its solution for migrating Lotus Notes, Lotus QuickPlace/Quickr and Domino.Doc applications to SharePoint and SharePoint Online. The latest version streamlines the process of migrating to SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft Office 365, while providing high data fidelity and requiring fewer development resources.

Notes Migrator for SharePoint now enables customers and partners to:

  • Leverage new SharePoint 2010 features such as Managed Metadata and Document Sets to maximize the return on investment in SharePoint 2010
  • Connect to SharePoint 2010 Sites via native web services and claims based authentication, providing customers with faster and easier deployment options
  • Convert Notes forms to Microsoft InfoPath list forms, preserving the look and feel of Notes applications with minimal  development effort
  • Migrate Notes data directly to SQL Server tables for complex applications
  • Format Notes documents as PDFs, which provide practical choices for archiving and presenting migrated content in SharePoint 2010 

The new version of Notes Migrator for SharePoint will add support for SharePoint Online in the multi-tenant Microsoft Office 365 service  (available later this year). Customers and partners are using Notes Migrator for SharePoint to migrate to Office 365 and SharePoint Online with great success.
