StealthCollect Remote Installation (New Installations and Upgrades)

Use the remote server installer if either :

• You are installing a new agent and the files cannot be manually copied to the target server
  
• You are upgrading an existing agent.
  

Note: The remote server installer requires that all the servers involved in this installation reside on the same domain and that the logged-on operating system account has domain administrative privileges.

To perform a remote installation:

1. Download SetupPASS.exe installation file.
   
2. Run SetupPASS.exe on the client machine from which you want to perform the installation.
   This will deploy the remote installation files to your client machine.
   
3. Launch Quest Central and from the databases tree, right click the SQL Server database you want StealthCollect to monitor.
   From the popup menu choose Install Agent/Repositories | Install
   
4. The installation wizard will be launched.
   Follow the displayed instructions to complete the installation. Use the Local Server Installer for new installations and when you have full access to the target and middleware servers
