Secure Copy is a powerful migration solution that automates the copying of data between Windows NT/2000/2003/2008 servers without the use of agents or scripts. Whether you’re migrating from one server to another, consolidating file servers or moving to a NAS/SAN solution, you can easily copy files and folders, NTFS permissions, file shares, local users and groups and compression settings.

Supported Management Platforms	Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/7 Windows Server 2008 Windows Server 2008 R2 Note: Secure Copy will transfer data between NTFS/FAT16/FAT32 partitions only (security will not be maintained when copying to a FAT partition). Certain NAS appliance manufacturers have devices that are compatible with Secure Copy.
Minimum System Requirements	Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 The remaining minimum requirements are the same as the operating system of the machine on which Secure Copy is installed. Of course, faster processors and more memory will affect the performance of Secure Copy.
User Privilege Requirements	In order to use Secure Copy, a user must hold administrative rights. These rights are required for the installation and use of the product. Additionally, users must have administrative rights on any servers or workstations that are involved in the copy process.
