Client Console
The Server Administrator console must be meet these minimum requirements:
- Windows XP 32-bit Service Pack 3, Windows XP 64-bit Service Pack 2, Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
- Active Directory domain joined computer
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
- A domain account must used to run Server Administrator and to perform scans
- If the firewall is enabled, port 14520 must be configured to allow outbound connections
For the computer where the Server Administrator database resides:
- SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3, SQL Server 2005 Express Service Pack 3, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 Express R2
Targeted SharePoint Web Front End Server
The software is supported up to and including the listed versions:
- Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service Pack 2, SharePoint Foundation 2010
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 2, SharePoint Server 2010
- SharePoint Windows Authentication configured
- IIS 6.0 or later
- If the firewall is enabled, port 14520 must be configured to allow inbound connections
All Targeted Servers (including farm database servers and non-SharePoint servers)
