Before installing DirectoryAnalyzer, ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements:

DirectoryAnalyzer Client

The DirectoryAnalyzer Client connects to a DirectoryAnalyzer Enterprise Agent.

Operating System

A machine running on any of the following minimum platforms:

Windows 2000 Professional SP3
Windows 2000 Server SP3
Windows Server 2003
Windows Server 2003 R2
Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2008 R2
Windows XP SP2
Windows Vista

DirectoryAnalyzer Enterprise Agent

The DirectoryAnalyzer Enterprise Agent is responsible for fulfilling client requests and consolidating and generating alerts.

Operating System	Member server running on any of the following minimum platforms: Windows 2000 Server SP3 Windows Server 2003 Windows Server 2003 R2 Windows Server 2008 Windows Server 2008 R2
Additional Software	Enterprise Agent Software and Configuration: The DirectoryAnalyzer Enterprise Agent must be installed on a member server. SQL Server 2000 SP3 or MSDE 2000 or Full and Express versions of SQL 2005\2008. WMI must be installed and running if a consolidator connection is desired.

DirectoryAnalyzer DC and Site Agent

DirectoryAnalyzer DC and Site agents can be deployed to domain controllers (DCs) to monitor conditions and events on these servers. These agents will then report all alert information to the DirectoryAnalyzer Enterprise Agent.

DirectoryTroubleshooter

Before installing DirectoryTroubleshooter, ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements:

Workstation Requirements

The user must have login credentials in to a Domain in the Forest that you are testing against.
Windows 2000 (SP4), Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP (excluding XP Home Edition), Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008.
Windows Installer Service Version 2 or higher (if necessary, this will be installed and will require a reboot).
The DirectoryTroubleshooter Client works best with monitors running at a resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher.
Internet Explorer 6 or higher is required to enable the Print Preview feature in the DirectoryTroubleshooter client.
Local Administrator rights are not required to run DirectoryTroubleshooter, Admin rights are required to Install, License, or Uninstall
DirectoryTroubleshooter.
Windows .Net 2.0 components are required for installation. If you do not have .Net components installed, you will be
prompted to install during the DirectoryTroubleshooter setup.

Spotlight on Active Directory

Before installing Spotlight on Active Directory 6.8.1, ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements:

Platform	x86 2.2 GHz
Memory	1 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space	150 MB free disk space. Additional space will be required depending on the application usage.
Monitor	SVGA at 1024 x 768, 16-bit (65535) color
