- Option to monitor all active databases - A new option in the Connection Manager lets you monitor all databases belonging to the DB2 instance to which the database or database partition resides.
- LDAP support - Connection Manager supports connections to LDAP databases. When you select the option to set up a LDAP connection, Connection Manager reads the LDAP server catalog to populate the list of available LDAP instances and databases from which to select your connection information.
- Support for DB2 for LUW 9.5 - Spotlight on DB2 now supports DB2 for LUW 9.5.
- Integration with Knowledge Xpert - Spotlight on DB2 What's This? help now links to Knowledge Xpert topics to provide more in-depth descriptions of DB2 operations.
- Integration with Toad for DB2 - Certain Spotlight drilldowns let you open a Toad for DB2 session (or a Quest Central for DB2 session) to alter an object, review object properties, or update database configuration parameters.
- Integration with SQL Optimizer - The Top SQL and Client Application Analysis drilldowns let you open Quest SQL Optimizer (or Quest Central for DB2 SQL Tuning) to tune problem application SQL.
