SQL Watch Console requirements

Hardware requirements

• Computer with Pentium III (Pentium IV recommended) or compatible processor
• Minimum 256 MB of RAM
• Minimum 40 MB disk space required for a full installation, which includes up to 10 MB download of temporary setup files that can be removed at completion of install
• CD-ROM drive or Internet connection (required for installation only)
• VGA monitor, 1024x768 resolution, small fonts
• Printer (optional) for printing graphs and reports
• Mouse (required to access all features)

Software requirements

• Windows XP Professional SP2, Windows 2000 Professional SP4 or later, Windows Server 2003 SP1, Windows Vista 
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
• .NET Framework version  2.0
• Read and write access permissions on the SQL Watch Console installation folder

SQL Watch Agent requirements

Hardware requirements

• Computer with Pentium III (Pentium IV recommended) or compatible processor
• Minimum 12 MB disk space required for an agent installation, which includes up to 10 MB download of temporary setup files that can be removed at completion of install
• Additional Free Space of 50 MB for SQL Watch database

Software requirements

• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or Microsoft SQL Server 2005
• Read and write access permissions on the SQL Watch installation folder and Microsoft SQL Server binary folder
• SQL Server should be started under Local System account or another equivalent account
