The goal of this white paper is to help Oracle professionals become effective DB2 administrators. While the focus of the document is on DB2 for LUW, many of the concepts and features discussed apply equally to DB2 for z/OS. 

Managing DB2 LUW databases and DB2 z/OS subsystems is a challenge—even for the most seasoned DB2 DBA. 

For someone with an Oracle background who is suddenly asked to manage DB2 as well, this new responsibility can be daunting; there is so much to learn, and so little time to learn it.
