Quest Software ActiveRoles (ARS) Integration with IBM Tivoli Identity Manager (ITIM) 5.0

This document describes the detailed steps followed to demonstrate integration between IBM Tivoli Identity Manager (ITIM) 5.0 and Quest Software ActiveRoles (ARS). It is intended as an integration proof of concept and to be used as a reference. After the integration elements are installed and configured according to this guide, ITIM 5.0 is capable of managing user accounts on Active Directory through ARS. Typical transactions involved in managing user accounts include: add user, modify user, change user password, suspend user, restore user, delete user.
