Important: Toad uses the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (DTC) when opening a SQL file to get Full-Text Search status, but DTC is disabled by default on Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7. If you are using either operating system, ensure that Network DTC access is enabled on the Toad client. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (Service Pack 1)

Note: The following conditions apply:

• If you have the .NET Framework 4.0 installed, you must still install the .NET Framework 3.5.
• The .NET Framework Client Profile is not supported.
• To run Toad, the .NET security policy must be set to unrestricted.

The Log Reader requires version 8.0 DLL files in the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package.
