Toad for MySQL v3.1 Major New Features

• Performance improvements for queries that return large result sets in the Editor and the Database Browser
• Configuration setting automation allows you to set the windows that you want to open upon connecting to Toad for MySQL
• Editor improvements make it easier for you to view scripts, highlight problem areas of code and change the case of or add comments to text
• Query builder enhancements include support for subqueries and more flexibility when using date ranges
• Data compare provides greater flexibility when comparing tables and views that have different owners, names or column names.; also compare tables without primary keys and specific columns in a table 
• Customize the grid style when skin is applied to Toad
• Read-only data grids can be set up as the default
• Version control support has been added for Subversion and CVS

Toad for MySQL v3.0 Major New Features

• Automation allows you to graphically create a flow of activities to run or schedule the activities to run at a later time. You can also add the automation activities to the Project Manager and double-click them to run automatically. 
• One-click export allows you to easily export data using default settings from the Editor, Query Builder, and Database Browser
• Diff viewer allows you to compare the differences between DDL, data, or other types of files

System Requirements

Verify that your system meets the following minimum requirements.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

• IBM style PC
• 36 MB of disk space for installation
• 256 MB of RAM minimum, 512 MB is recommended
• VGA monitor with a minimum resolution of 800x600, 1024x768 is recommended.
• Mouse pointing device

Minimum Software Requirements

• Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003 or XP Professional
• Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0
• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.01 or later
• Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or later (for viewing the Getting Started Guide)
• MDAC 2.6 or later
• Client connectivity and configuration for each database (pre-requisite for connecting)
