Today’s organizations are delegating more and more sensitive tasks to their growing IT departments. In most cases, that means either extending more trust to IT staffers than the business might feel comfortable doing, or deciding to not extend that trust and instead accepting higher overhead (through increased manual labor), longer IT service times, and poorer IT service levels. The problem ultimately stems from the native management tool set of the Microsoft Active Directory directory service which is simply not designed to provide the level of flexibility, control, and management needed to meet every possible permutation of business need in the world.
You don’t have to be satisfied with what the native tools offer.
