Simplifying and Securing Group Policy Management

Most corporations run Active Directory and therefore utilize Group Policy as a key component of the control of security of every server and desktop. Group Policy is available “out of the box” with Active Directory, enabled by default, and even comes with two default Group Policy Objects (GPOs) that help control security of the enterprise. With nearly 5,000 settings in a single GPO, there is not much that a GPO can’t control on your Windows network. Group Policy is the only true way to secure your Windows domain controllers, servers and desktops, and GPOs are as important to your network as Active Directory itself.
