XRT/table

Essential Multi-Purpose Widget for Displaying Lists, Tables and Forms

XRT/table 3.0 allows you to easily display and manipulate tables and forms in your Motif applications. Flexible and fast, XRT/table is ideal for applications that access stored text or image data such as lists and databases, or for displaying dynamic tabular data on the fly.

With its virtual table capabilities, XRT/table can manage even your largest data display requirements. Widget-in-cell technology gives you complete control over the user interface. A wide range of output options are available, including EPS, JPG and PNG. With more than 150 resources, XRT/table is flexible enough for almost any task, and is simple and easy to use.

XRT/table

Quality Interactive Information Display

XRT/table can manage text, images and widgets in cells, and can output high-quality PostScript for printing.

XRT/table also supports a large variety of customizable user-interactions (such as cell resizing and drag-and-drop column reordering) as well as callbacks for programmers who wish to write their own interaction controls. XRT/table can help you build attractive, informative and responsive user interfaces, quickly and easily.

XRT/table

More Than a Spreadsheet - and Less Too

Using XRT/table can be a lot like embedding a spreadsheet right into your application. It will optionally provide spreadsheet-style labels.

Users can easily scroll through rows and columns of data. You can let them add, delete, freeze, hide, and drag and drop rows and columns. You can also let them sort rows by a certain column, load delimited data files, print all or parts of a table in PostScript, and even output a SYLK-format file for loading into spreadsheets.

XRT/table

Unlike a spreadsheet, XRT/table does not automatically provide calculation or formula support (although developers can add this themselves). And, unlike a spreadsheet, XRT/table is a GUI component, which means the programmer is ultimately in control of the table's contents and behavior.
