Where Innovation Is About our Customers

Welcome to the new community. This site is the foundation for how we engage in a better two-way conversation with you than ever before. We are glad you're here and we're looking forward to collaborating and innovating together.

How Did We Get Here?

We have been talking to our customers for the last year or so about our Communities.  We've learned a few things along the way:

  1. You want a community more focused on the IT professional, and one that looks great on your mobile device.
  2. You want content and features that are more about your needs and problems - things like troubleshooting tips, problem-solving tactics, and access to our support resources right on the community.
  3. You want access to more of our product teams, more transparency about product releases and future functionality, and a wider cross-section of our company participating in the conversation.
  4. When things aren't working, you want us to tell you how and when we're going to make it work.

What We Are Doing, and When We're Doing It

We are refocusing on three key things. First, we're going to make this site very easy to use and navigate from any device.  Second, we're making this all about what IT Professionals need and want to talk about.  Third, we're going to introduce a LOT more two-way communication methods for you.  Here's how (and when) we're going to do it:

  • We are building a more focused experience, here on this community, where you can get at the information you want. We want navigation to be easy and access to what you need only a click or two away. If you have suggestions on how we can make this better, I invite you to post your thoughts on our Feedback Forum.
  • We are going to introduce more two-way communication methods. Things like product-focused forums, public and private beta programs, and partner information and collaboration, provided 100% here on the community.  
  • We will be introducing Ideation for many of our products so that you can tell our product teams what you need. You are innovation, and we want you to shape the future of your IT Management tools. It's your software; we just write it.
  • We want to hear from you when things aren't working. If we're not giving you what you need to learn how to be a better IT professional, tell us how we can change that. Our support, community, and product teams are listening and we are ready to deliver.

This community will be rolled out over the next 6 months. Here's the order of operations on what will happen:

  • This initial release is focused on our blogs, and we're going to focus on the problems you're having, rather than on how our products help you solve those problems. If you're already a customer, you can get at all of our educational materials on our website, right here on our community. If you're not a customer yet, check out our blog. We have a lot of really smart people signed up to write about technology here.
  • We will be introducing product forums later this summer, and will be moving all of the forum and blog content from Tech Center over to here in the fall.
  • As fall turns to winter, we will be introducing more collaboration options for you. Things like ideation, product beta programs, a partners section, and product road maps. Tell us what else you need, and we will do our best to deliver.
  • Going into next calendar year, we're going to be introducing perks for participating in the community, including some really fantastic rewards for people who become true Board Warriors. We are committed to not only giving you a good experience, but also rewarding you for your participation.

Lastly, we appreciate your patience as we move towards a more collaborative model of doing business. Getting ourselves positioned to give you everything you need from the community is going to take some time and a lot of effort, but our whole organization is committed to this. We will jump as high as we need to in order to make this the best community for you that we possibly can.
