The SQL Performance Investigator dashboard provides a rich set of data to analyze workload on your SQL Server and Oracle instances.
The main use case is to use the data for historical analysis - after the problem has occurred.
However, if you'd like to use it in near real-time so that it refreshes automatically, you can make a simple change to do that by following these steps:
1- click the > on the right side panel to show the options, and go to the General tab.
2- Select Properties, then basic properties.
3- Specify the value for the auto refresh rate. You can hard code it for everyone (as shown), or you can use the first option to use the setting on a per user basis. Click Ok, refresh the browser, and your SQL Performance Investigator page should automatically refresh.
