It’s hard enough taking a few days off work for a vacation, let alone to attend a trade show or some other industry event when you know you are only going to return and find a week’s worth of work waiting for you.

The fact is, we’re all busy. Busy answering emails, attending meetings, putting out fires, and supporting users. And IT pros like you are in short demand and even shorter on time. Managing the day-to-day tasks, let alone all the new technologies and peripherals that go with them, is something that you do after the work day ends – or as I like to refer to it - when the real work gets done. Chances are, that you’re working late almost every day.

Don’t sweat the small stuff

Sometimes the important stuff like ensuring your document scanners will work in a remote desktop environment or from cloud-hosted applications has to wait until after the day-to-day administrative tasks and needs are managed. And you can pretty much count on that not being done by 5:30 p.m.

Additionally, you’ll want to find a way to ensure that your data is safe and secure when your scanners transmit to the cloud. All this ongoing administration and management has left you little time to focus on whether your process is intuitive enough for the end user, let alone time to even focus on future innovation. The irony is, if you had all this in place, you might have more time to attend one or two industry events and trade shows.

The simple truth

So when was the last time you were able to simply get away for a few hours to expand your IT skills, attend a training session or check out the latest technologies that could help you spend less time on IT administration, and more time on innovation? Let me venture a guess – never?

What if I told you that there was a way for you to gain access to everything you need without actually leaving your desk? Taking that a step further, what if you were able to network with our IT evangelists, experts and your peers all from your desktop - so you can still be productive at work and have access to the tools and resources you need to advance your knowledge? Would you take us up on it?

Come on, no excuses

Well, that’s exactly what the Quest Virtual Trade Show is all about. You’ll have access to our IT experts, virtually, so you can get the insight, tips and tricks, and the technical information you need for secure remote scanning - without having to worry that you’re neglecting end users since you can attend the show without leaving your desk.

But the main reason you should consider attending the virtual trade show is that you can set your own schedule – so you can come and go when you like. Simply log in to the virtual expo on June 23rd any time between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. PDT (or 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. BST if you’re in the UK or EMEA) to connect, explore, and learn how Quest can help you support your organization – right from your desktop.
