Is there any documentation around specifically how a NTFS discovery works, Storage administrators want to understand the specifics of what the discovery type actually does.

Can you please give an example of the kind of detail you are looking to learn?

What do you feel is missing from the docs?

the actual process followed during the discovery, IE connect on x port, enumerate X data, enumerate Data.

mostly all about what specific actions the discovery is actually taking as it performs the NTFS discoveries.

The documentation might be out there somewhere, but, i just can't seem to locate it in the user guides or installation manual, outside of some examples of time to process 20- million files as example
