T2T Migration - Microsoft Planner

Hi,

We are performing a tenant-to-tenant (T2T) migration and will also be moving the source domain.

Is ODM able to migrate Microsoft Planner? I am not able to find any documentation referring to this.

Hello,

Yes, Planners are able to be migrated using On Demand Migration. There are some limitations with Planner migrations, as documented in our User Guide, the information can be found under Microsoft Teams Migration - What We Migrate.

To migrate a Planner, create a Teams or M365 Group migration task in On Demand Migration and on the Migration Options section of the task wizard select the checkbox for Planner.

Thank you for your response.

Just to confirm, ODM supports Planner (basic) migration and not Planner premium or formerly known as Projects?

Hello jabulanim ,

Your understanding is correct., Planner basic is supported while Premium Panners are not supported due to a Graph limitation.
