Can we assign risk to System Role directly?

Hi,

Can we have risk assigned directly to System Role. As of now, risk gets assigned to system role based on the entitlements of the role. Instead of this, is there a way where we can assign risk directly?

Hi,

By design, this is not possible.

Assigning a system role is the equivalent of assigning the individual entitlements, so the resulting risk should be the same.

Create a resource to represent the unconnected target system group, or better model the unconnected target system as a target system in UNSB and define it as read-only. Then assign the groups to the system…

Agree with you. But what if I create a system role for unconnected target system groups? In this case, I would like to assign risk to system role directly since I cannot assign any entitlement.
