Password Manager and RSA SecurID

We are implementing RSA SecurID for a client to authenticate users logging onto Windows devices.

We have installed the RSA Authentication Agent on Windows 10 devices and used the Policy setting "Add the Forgot My Password link to credential provider
tile" to add the link to Password Manager to the RSA Credential Provider.

However, what happens is that the link appears on a separate login tile, and that tile appears as the default when the User starts their device. They then have to switch to the RSA Credential Provider tile to actually log on.

Wondering if anybody else has experienced this ?

Ideally we would like the link to appear on the RSA Credential Provider tile, but if that can't be done then we would at least like to able to get the RSA Credential Provider to appear as the default when the User starts their device.

  • Is the Password Manager "Forgot My Password" link tile treated as a distinct credential provider on Windows 10 then ? Otherwise I can't see how I can change the order in which it and the RSA Credential Provider tile appear.
