A suggestion for Desktop Authority would be some method of getting a status of app installation. Its frustrating to push out a .msi and then not know if it failed to install on a number of systems.
in the past we have created a custom report of the systems with the specific software installed, but the reporting tool is quite difficult to work with and each version of each software needs a custom report.
Usually what we do is switch to running a batch file that calls the .msi and then checks the return code and for the file existence and writes a centralized log that is easy to check. It would be great if there was some built-in method of coming in the next morning and checking a log to discover 3 computers failed the install, that way I could dispatch workorders to send a tech out to them.
