Creating a monitoring template for Foglight database alarms

Is there a way to create a monitoring template that has all of the alarm configurations that are considered default for a company? At the moment, every time we add a new instance we have to manually configure each alarm to the default. We'd like to be able to apply a template that has our default configurations stored within.

Have you tried using the Cartridge Builder? https://support.quest.com/foglight/kb/185435

This tool was added in Foglight 5.7.5.1 (I believe). It should allow you to create a cartridge with all your custom rules, variables, services, and even dashboards.

Hi Randy,

Have you tried cloning the database alarm settings from one configured database agent to another as described in KB 106315?

The original intent of this was provide a form template functionality for users.
