Naming Fast Compression backups

I found in the knowledge base defect ST69517 which hasn't been updated since 2012.  Is there any chance that a feature will be added that allows users to set the naming convention for Fast Compression Backups?

Our current file management software uses file names to confirm that they have been moved off-site before removing the local copy and we would like to use our standard naming convention for them.

    Hello Cory,

    Fast Compression is using its own naming rules to proceed automated backups.

    Could you describe in details how you use names in you wrokflow?
    Possibly we can add something to the product to fit your requirements.
