LiteSpeed backup and native backup at the same time

Hi,

is it possible/useful to backup a database with SSMS (native inc. compression) and LiteSpeed at the same time?

If no, what will happen?

    Hello Frank,

    Yes, you can backup a database using both native and Litespeed. However, please note that native can't restore a backup created in Litespeed's backup format.

    To answer the question of rather its useful or not I would need more details of what you would like to do.
