Backup Slowness After Upgrade to LS 8.2.1

I upgrade from 7.54 to 8.2.1 and now there is a job that uses the xp_backup_database SP that is taking significantly longer to complete than before the upgrade. The backups of each DB doesn't seem to be the problem but there is an increase of time between the end of one backup and the start of another. Has anyone experienced and resolved the same or similar issue?

    Hello Michael,

    I would recommend opening a support case for this problem.
    The issue could be one addressed in version 8.5, but we would need to collect an engine\maintenance plan log to troubleshoot further.
