error : failed to get connection to plugin

 Hi - installed Netvault 11 server and clients successfully. Added clients to the server successfully. But cannot access the filesystem of the clients to create a backup job. its shows the above error.  Both the test under manage client ( access + firewall) tests reported success(pass). the file system plugin (basic package) is installed and good.

How to resolve?? Any help is appreciated.

    Malvin, I would suggest you open a case with Quest Support if you have not already resolved this issue. Support will be able to examine the logs and determine the source of the problem. Is it possible this is a VMware guest? We have seen, and fixed, similar issues on VMware clients.
