If you are a customer using a Dell DR Series Appliance with NetVault Backup and planning to upgrade to NetVault 11.4, then please read this important information below:
The release of NetVault 11.4 includes an update to the RDA plugin libraries. This latest RDA Library was put in place before the release of the DR Firmware update so upgrading to NetVault cause issues with the current RDA containers you may have in NetVault. Please see the important note in the Release Notes for 11.4 below:
NOTE:
Do not upgrade to NetVault Backup version 11.4 if the DR Series System version is lesser than 4.0.0.3. NetVault Backup may not behave correctly if the DR OS version is lesser than 4.0.0.3 due to RDA library compatibility issue. Before upgrade to NetVault Backup version 11.4, it is also recommended to uninstall external RDA library that is lesser than 4.0.0.3.
However, DR OS 4.0.0.3 was RELEASED TODAY, so to avoid this issue, please download the latest DR OS firmware from the link below:
