Wrong link to second attachments on rows for word web app mode in SharePoint

Having a special issue, where the links to attachments getting wrong when two attachments are included on a row in word documents.

In web app mode: The first attachment on the row has the right link and can be properly opened, but the second attachment shows the same link as the first one and open that one instead of "itself"...

If I then switch to edit in word, and find that the link for the second attachment now properly appears and can be open.

If I now - still in edit word mode - just insert an extra space between the two attachments, save the document, and switch back to web app mode, then the proper attachment link properly appears and can be opened also in the web app mode. (This could had been a reasonable workaround if there was just a few documents with attachments.)

How to solve this so that we don't need to manually insert spaces between the attachments?

  • Hi Maria,

Thanks for posting in the Migrator for Notes to SharePoint (MNSP) forum. I understand you are experiencing issues migrating attachments to SharePoint. I would agree that this sounds like a very specific issue that will require additional investigation. Would you be able to create a new Service Request using the following link, so that we can gather additional details?

    support.quest.com/create-service-request

In order to assist with our investigation of this issue, could you provide the following information:

1.) What exact version of MNSP are you using (Help | About)?

2.) Can you send in a copy of your MNSP job file for this migration?

3.) Would you be able to send in a Notes NSF file with some sample records so that we can reproduce this issue?

4.) Can you include screenshots that show examples of the issue you are experiencing?

    Thanks,
