Migration of attachments from notes to SQL server

Hi All,

We are trying to migrate attachments from Notes to SQL server tables, we are trying to map the notes attachment content field to NVARCHAR(MAX) in SQL, this required for our K2 tools to function, we expect a byte array in content but we are getting junk chars instead, can you let us know the way to get attachments in byte array format?

  • Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Migrator for Notes to SharePoint (MNSP) forum. I understand you are experiencing issues migrating Notes attachments to the SQL NVARCHAR(MAX) column type.

Does the Notes attachment data fit within the constraints of the NVARCHAR(MAX) column type?

If you open MNSP Designer | Notes | Preview, what does the Notes source field data look like?

This issue may be too complex to resolve via this forum. We may need a copy of your MNSP migration job file and sample Notes data to investigate further. In order to protect your information, we would recommend creating a Service Request:
