Windows error 9267

We are getting a series of message: "Status of Agent 'PTx-XXX' has been changed" ( about 20 -40 of them at the same time)  Plus on the machine itself, the "Appasure Replay Volume Filter Driver" triggered a large series of windows event error 9267, with the text "Log write failed for device \Device\HarddiskVolume3 (drive C:). The failure status code is the last word of the data."  We had recently upgraded this machine from Appasure 5.4.2.228 to Rapid Recovery 6.1.3.100.

We had this issue right before the referenced machine started having network issues

  • Windows error 9267 "log write failed" means that the Agent filter drivers could not write to the log file on whatever volume is named (in this case C:). Usually that occurs because of a full volume. That's the most common reason for it. If your C: volume fills up that usually causes all kinds of problems with the machine which would probably result in the agent going online and offline (triggering the "status of agent" messages) and possibly the network connectivity issues. I highly doubt our agent filled up the C: drive since our log files are usually on KBs in size. I recommend you check that machine for something filling up your C: drive.
