DL4300 Rapid Recovery Core 6.1.3.100 SQL 2000 Support?

Hello, 

 

Our DL4300 appliance running Rapid Recovery Core 6.1.3.100 backs up our modern physical servers and also an ESXI box running our legacy servers after a P2V conversion. One of these VMs on ESXI is a Windows Server 2003 R2 32bit OS running SQL 2000 for our mission critical ERP. We use Rapid Recovery Agentless to connect to the ESXI box and backup all the VMs. Is this supported for SQL 2000? I believed that the Agent install did not support 2003 and did not support SQL2000...

    Rapid Recovery doesn't support EOL Microsoft operating systems or SQL versions. A couple years ago when 2003 was not EOL, it was a supported operating system for the agent installation and protection. At this point backup and restore with agentless is at your own risk for non-supported operating systems. It should work, but if you contact support you'll only get best effort help and no guarantees.
