Dedup corruption

Is it possible for the Dedup cache to become corrupted?  We took a new base of roughly a 600 GB server and created roughly 5 days of incrementals and it seems like it's not Deduping the data when transferring to our DR site.  If the cache can become corrupted is there a way to fix this?  Let me know.  Thanks.

  • Hi Tim,

It is possible for the dedupe cache to become corrupted, as with any files on a file system. The behavior of the deduping not reaching expectations could be something else. We will need bit more information to determine what is going on. This would be best done through a support session and phone call so an engineer can review everything with you.
