Java applications on Oracle Exadata

For reasons that are unimportant, an organization has purchased an Exadata Eighth Rack. A portion of the administrators believed this would enhance execution of current applications. The issue is that scarcely any application influences serious database to work (yes, this is a decent minute for taking a gander at facepalm vivified gifs). In this way, right now, movements have demonstrated quite recently little advantage.

The inquiry is self-evident. The greater part of the applications are composed in Java, and some of them make serious utilization of Solr and Cassandra. For what I know, Exadata is expected for putting away information, while Exalogic can hold applications as well. Anyway, I'm thinking about whether there is some method for exploiting said foundation.
