Can Stat be used with a non-Ebusiness Suite Oracle?

We are looking to implement Stat for a non-eBusiness Suite Oracle environment.

Do we need to install the Stat Oracle Agents, or do we only need the the Stat Central Agent?

What all would we need to have installed if we wanted to migrate stored procedures/packages/functions as well as unix shell scripts?

  • Allen, First you want to make sure you have the correct Stat license. Managing custom applications in Stat is different than managing the Oracle E-Business Suite. For a non-EBusiness application, you would want to configure a Generic Application in Stat. With this you would configure its specific connection properties. You can find this in the SysAdmin guide in the "Generic Application Connection Maintenance" section. As you complete the configuration you can enable object types like schema objects so you can migrate stored procedures.
    I hope this helps.
