As our world becomes faster, our lives busier, our days longer, any shortcut we can find and share with friends is a good thing.
Below is a list of keyboard shortcuts that I use frequently within Stat. I hope that you find them useful as well.
Some are pretty windows standard such as Ctrl-C (copy) and Ctrl-V (paste). Others are specific to Stat and the specific area within Stat that you are working.
As stated earlier, we are all busy and to that end, as Rocky the Squirrel says
* “And now here’s something I think you’ll really like!”
Create new blank/empty CSR
Open existing CSR
Enter or Ctrl-S
Save current CSR
Create new CSR from template
CSR Search Wizard
Copy highlighted row or item
Remove 1 character backward/remove highlighted text
Paste copied text
Cut highlighted text
Moves cursor to beginning of line
Moves cursor to the end of line
Moves cursor to start of field
Moves cursor to end of field
Delete selected text
Insert a tab space in the template area
Insert a line separator between lines/rows
Insert a new line at the cursor
I chose not to put a lot extraneous text in this blog so that you can cut ( Ctrl-C ) and paste ( Ctrl-P ) this information into a form of your own to print out and keep handy!
If you have any keyboard combinations, or Stat shortcuts, that you like to use and would like to share them with the Stat Community, please feel free to post them along with your comments below.
Thanks for taking the time to read this blog and I hope you found it informative.
