CEE framework 7.1 not supported or working with 6.9.

only 7.1 cee can be downloaded from emc.com no earlier versions, docs say 7.0 is needed and registry value says Dell but documentation says to set to QuestSoftware.  Changing in 7.1 to QuestSoftware gets overwritten back to Dell.  Root cause issue is no events appear in client search.      Where can CEE windows 7.0 be downloaded from or what is the solution.
