Delegation of Searches (not using Knowledge Portal or SQL Reporting Services)

Hello,

Might there be a way I not thinking of to be able to delegate the Searches to a group of users (using the CA Client interfaces)? Granting access to just the Searches tab is easy enough to do, but I would like to limit the Searches that are visible to the group of that have been delegated the ability to see just the Searches tab. Right now, all of the Built-In Searches can be seen, and I'm looking to prevent this, or present a subset of Searches. Thanks for any input!

    Hi Richard,

    Currently it is not possible to delegate access within the searches area unfortunately. This is however something which is on our radar for consideration in future releases.

    If you are only looking to provide a couple of searches you could use the Web Client and the Web Shared Overview group but if there are numerous searches this would not be particularly easy to manage.
