Enterprise Vault Tasks Monitoring

Hi,

 

I wasn't sure if this was the right area, but does foglight offer anything for monitoring Enterprise Vault Tasks? 

These tasks are not windows services, but rather tasks within EV own program. I believe the answer is no, but just wanted to check.

    Hi Jason

    I don't know any out of box cartridge/community cartridge can do that but here are something you can try.

    1. Based on vox.veritas.com/.../538564 you can use sql to query task status
    2. Then you can build a script agent to capture that info and send to Foglight
    Follow this video to see how to build a script agent www.quest.com/.../
    3. Then you can build a dashboard/rule in Foglight to show those info you collected
