How May FGLAM's can an FMS Manage?

How May FGLAM's can an FMS(5.9.4) Manage?

  • Hello Georgios,

it is not a question of how many FglAMs are connecting to the FMS it is more a question of how many agents you want to install. I have seen several setups where a huge amount of FglAMs connect to one FMS and on each FglAM there were only 2 agents. Other setups have only 1-2 FglAMs connected to one FMS but each FglAMs holds a huge amount of agents.

The load on the FMS is more related to:

    - amount of agents

    - type of agents

    - amount of enabled collections

    - collection interval of the single agents

Are you able to provide more details about your current setup plan?

If you want to do DB monitoring there is a deployment guide which provides the system requirements for x amount of agents. You can find the deployments guides here:

    support.quest.com/.../technical-documents

If you need help to do a proper sizing and setup planning, please contact our PSO team as they have the needed field experience to give valid advice.

    Does that help?

    Kind Regards

    Nicola
